Hull Village Architecture Walking Tour with Bob Pahl
Saturday, October 17, 2026 Meet at: St. Nicholas Parking Lot, 128 Spring St., Hull, MA 10:00 am – 12:00 pm $15 per person Step back in time and discover Hull’s Hills and Architectural Thrills with architect Bob Pahl. Explore the hidden gems of Hull Village, one of the South Shore’s oldest communities, where homes of early settlers, modest fishermen, and prosperous sea captains and merchants—now sit quietly off the main roads. Together, we’ll walk the village hills and examine homes and buildings that span from the Colonial era to the Contemporary, learning how familiar architectural styles took on their own unique expression in this historic fishing village. With over 40 years of experience in architectural design and his role as Vice Chair of the Hull Historic District Commission, Bob Pahl brings expert insight and a deep appreciation for Hull’s architectural heritage. For your comfort we suggest you wear comfortable shoes, water, and a readiness to walk the hills of Hull Village. For questions, contact us at: 781-925-5433 .

Sangha Fall Workshop
Sangha Fall Workshop Date: Wednesdays, September 16 – October 28, 2026 Time: 7:00 – 8:00 pm (with an optional meditation session following) Admission: $35 This fall, the Lifesaving Sangha explores Matt Haig’s The Midnight Library , a thought-provoking story about regret, possibility, happiness, and what makes a life worth living. Through conversation and mindfulness, we’ll consider themes of impermanence, attachment, gratitude, compassion, and learning to fully embrace the life we have. No prior experience with Buddhism or mindfulness is needed—just come as you are, ready to read, reflect, and explore. This is not a traditional book club focused on facts, but a reflective inquiry into what it means to be human, how consciousness developed, and how mindfulness can help us live more wisely within this ongoing process. Sean’s workshops are easy, fun, and welcoming to all—no prior experience required, just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to see yourself with fresh eyes.
