• Apple: We receive your name and email (or anonymous email if you choose) from your Apple ID
• Facebook: We receive your name, email, and profile picture from your Facebook account

We only access the minimum information necessary to create and maintain your HullNext account.

Usage Information

We may collect information about how you use our Services, including:

• Pages visited and features used
• Device information (browser type, operating system)
• IP address and general location information

Content You Submit

If you contribute to community features — such as community memories, event submissions, or business listings — we collect what you provide, including titles, descriptions, dates, and any photographs you upload, along with the attribution name you choose to display.

How We Store Your Data

Your account and profile data is stored using our hosting infrastructure:

• Managed PostgreSQL database: For persistent user profile and account data
• Redis cache (Upstash): For short-lived performance caching

Photographs and media you submit through community features are stored in Google Cloud Storage and are served publicly as part of the published content. Please do not upload images containing information you are not comfortable making public.

Content You Publish Is Public

Content submitted through community features is intended for publication. Once approved, your submission — including any photographs and the attribution name shown with it — is publicly visible on our Services and may be indexed by search engines or shared by others.

We review submissions before publication and may decline, edit, or remove any contribution. If you would like something you submitted taken down, contact us and we will remove it from our Services, though copies may persist in search engine caches or elsewhere outside our control.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain our Services
• Authenticate your account and keep it secure

Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with third-party platforms that have their own privacy policies:

• Authentication Providers: Google, Apple, Facebook, and GitHub
• Hosting Services: Vercel
• Media Storage: Google Cloud Storage, for photographs and media published through community features
• Stripe: Used for business subscriptions and billing. Payment details are entered with and handled by Stripe; we receive only the subscription status and limited billing metadata needed to manage an account, and we do not store full payment card details
• Square Integration: We provide a connection facility that allows our business partners to integrate their Square POS systems with websites we host on their behalf. HullNext only facilitates this connection — we do not process their point-of-sale payments or store their customers’ payment information

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information, including:
